We have been on a bit of a hiatus from sharing meditations. During this time we travelled and built strength, discovered new silences, faced ourselves, dancing, creating and loving. We are glad to offer a five day OSHO Dynamic Meditation Intensive next week to get grounded in this space and create even more space for health, love and light to exist. Check the site for info

The Great Way

The Great Way is not difficult
for those who have no preferences.
When love and hate are both absent
everything becomes clear and undisguised.
Make the smallest distinction, however,
and heaven and earth are set infinitely apart.

If you wish to see the truth
then hold no opinion for or against.
The struggle between what one likes
and what one dislikes
is the disease of the mind.

Chakras + Breath=Life

Wheels, Spirals of energy, Centers and countless other names for the word "Chakra." There are seven main chakras that run along the center line of the body. There are many more "minor chakras." This week, after Charging our energy with Dynamic Meditation, we will continue to energise through this simple and powerful technique.

OSHO Chakra Breathing Intensive

April 13th-18th

7-8am Weekdays 7.30-8.30 Saturday

Chakra Breathing is an active meditation technique, that uses the power of breath and musical sounds to activate and energize the chakras, or energy centers of the body.

We have seven major energy centers located along the midline of the body. Each chakra is connected to sound, color and light as well as to the organs and appendages of the body. For more information about chakras click here.

During these six day intensive we will begin to bring awareness to and revitalize these energy centers.

OSHO Active Meditations were created with the understanding that we live in a very different way today than in the times of the Buddha. These modern techniques prepare us to go into a space of awareness and relaxation. Using different physical movements, sound and/or breath to release tension and repressed emotions, a new energy and silence arise, allowing one to be more present in daily life.

Located at New York Core Center

115 East 23rd st at Park ave., 12th floor.

Contribution: $60 for all six days

Drop in $12

Living in a Dynamic World

Today was the first day in what will be a series of OSHO Active Meditation Intensives. This week we will be diving into OSHO Dynamic Meditation. This is the one of the first techniques that I did and continue to practice. The effects of this technique on my life have been innumerable. For me the main effect is that I have been able to become aware of different destructive patterns that I have created in my life and through this awareness allow these patterns to dissolve. I was remarking to a new participant this morning that, although I have been doing this technique for some time, each time is new, is a discovery. Dynamic is like a box of chocolates, you never know what you are gonna get! Over in Europe our beloved friends Ali Von Stein and Krisana Locke of Creative Module, have just completed a research project on the effects of Dynamic Meditation. Below you will find some info that Krisana sent to me about the work.

Dynamic Meditation Research Project

they were all so beautiful and really helped giving us lots of feedback
and filling out psychological test forms, and saliva testing for DNA and
RNA to test epigentics and the effects of meditation on the biology of
the body.
Viram and Urja, researchers from the North
Lake College Texas and John Hopkins University Washington DC, are so lovely and have contributed so much to this project too.
It was an intense week, with the screening day 2 days before where 60
people turned up hoping to be part of the project.
yes, they got paid as any international research project participants
must be paid. If they completed the 7 days and all the screening and a
follow up evening, a participant receives $120
There were 30 participants in total.

We hope to do a project in NYC this year too!

We hope that they bring this project to NY too, the tests results will be put in a scientific journal in a bout 6 months, we will keep you posted. If you want to do some research of you own come and join us this week for the remainder of the Dynamic Intensive and let us know what you think.

OSHO Dynamic Meditation Intensive
April 6th through April 11th
7-8am Weekdays 7.30-8.30am Saturdays
The technique consists of 5 stages: breathing, releasing, grounding, silence and celebration. Through these steps a joyous and relaxed balance is restored to body and mind and once the ground is prepared in this way meditation becomes easy and enjoyable. From this point you can begin to transform your daily life, bringing silence and celebration into any moment.

So as Spring begins to reveal itself, we move into a new time, new phase of relating to each other and the shifts around us. We also have been shifting from our normal meditation schedule, to create space for our artistic selves to dance a bit more. Neerajan journeyed to the beutiful jungkle in Brazil last month, while I held it down here in the NY jungle. Instead of our 21 day Dynamic cycle, we decided to do two six day intensive. One OSHO Dynamic and the other Chakra Breathing Intensive, we chose Chakra Breathing to share another powerful technique in the morningtime. From the first day I felt the power of this rather simple technique. Both Dynamic and Chakra Breathing utilize the breath to awaken the body, its cells, muscles and emotions exactly what we should be doing in the morning awakening our whole selves into a new moment. I had so much energy after each session, it was nice to experiment with this technique. As far as particpants or my expectation of what they turnout would be, as with most expectations was not met. The Dynamic intensive had more people joining each day as it went along, and the Chakra breathing attendance was low, but as they say quality not quantity. For both workshops the energy of the particpants was high and invested in every moment of their participation in the process. With that said, We will do a six day OSHO Dynamic Intensive starting this week. Woohoo!

This month we will offer a six day Intensive!

March 16th-21st

Weekdays 7.00-8.00AM

Saturday 7.30 - 8.30 AM

In a Safe Space we share this powerful method to start your day. During this hour long technique we use breath and body to release tension, stress and repressed emotions. This technique brings you back to your life energy by going through different blocks, that we call layers. Each layer that we face and peel away in this process starts to reveal the truth of who you really are. From this point you can begin to transform your daily life, bringing silence and celebration into any moment.

This week we began a six day Dynamic Intensive and each day a new person comes and stays on! I feel truly blessed to be able to share this amazing (if there has to be a word:) Technique. Before Prem left for Brazil we were discussing new ways to share meditation and i can sesne that committing to six days of Dynamic is a lot less intimidating that commiting to the 21 days. I just want to put out there that if you can commit to six you can also commit to twenty-one days it is just a matter of dropping the mind and its fears. I am truly in love with existence at this moment andd excited for the workshop on SUnday which will be for women to reconnect to the wild goddess within, as well as next weeks Chakra Breaathing Intensive.
After four years of doing these techniques on a daily basis, I feel the seed I planted so long ago is starting to peak its out out of the earth. In this moment I feel right on the edge, never knowing what is going to happen the next moment, exciting scaring, both and neither.

Returning to the Source, Meditation Camp

We had an amazing camp this past Saturday. What a beautiful experience right here in the center of NYC, literally we were on 34th street. We started, of course, with Dynamic to clear away all the crap and help to ground us. We had a little break for breakfast, then Vipassana and other techniques throughout the day. I still feel the effects, very present and my mind is clear. Everything around me is smiling alive and vibrant. Again I am so grateful to be able to share thee techniques and am continually amazed at how things just grow and blossom on their own. Just committing each day for myself to meditate in some way, whehter it be through an hour long technique, or eating or walking down the streets, or listening to birds, music or a discourse, has a profound effect on my life. Life itself can be/is a beautful meditation, each moment a precious gift and I am infinitely grateful:)
