Natural Mystic

Wanted to share these words that came to me the day after the election:

I found myself in a strange mood last night; the day was beautiful sunny clear in a grounded space after meditation accomplished all I remembered to accomplish. But as the election drew to a close, and even as i stood inside the voting booth I found myself wondering "What am I voting for? What am I choosing?" I made my choice way before the election. I was aware, have been aware of/felt this shift taking place right now within myself and within the world. What I feel in this moment is that we should break on through this "American" wall and open ourselves to that which is beyond label, definition or even intellectual understanding. I was at class with the wonderful Nafisa on Monday and she said something that has been ringing through me ever since. She said something to the effect of " We must keep moving, all of us, in this moment we dont have the luxury of stopping. we must move forward and do so with tremendous joy, even if we may not know the path, walk it joyously" This election more than anything should make us aware of the power we have as individuals to make choices that sculpt our lives. Our choices create our reality. My fear is that this "election" will be used as a way to give people a glimpse of hope only to have them/us fall back to trusting an individual who is invested and deeply involved within a system that is not for the individual in the highest sense of the word but for the selfish interests of a few individuals belonging to a small scared and misguided population. There is so much I see that puzzles me that boggles and blows my mind. There is so much I dont know but am willing to learn. I am committed from here on out too cultivate awareness, love and compassion within my own being, so much that I am overflowing with this energy so that all who come into contact with me will see reflected in them the same light, unconditional love and compassion.

These are scary and very exciting times because it is now, it is now that we must wake up, we have no other choice but to wake up to this reality and to face the effects of our choices in sculpting it. Not in an esoteric sense but in a real concrete way, each breath, each step is a response and a catalyst and it is all happening here and now. . .. I am committed to be as total as I can in each moment

I am drifting to be uplifted by the infinite
No more sifting though to hoorah or boo
Simply accepting this existence and all it has to offer
my gaze gets softer
and I see and am seen

Just a single step

This is par of a larger Osho Quote and I am feeling that hit me right in this moment. It just takes one action, one thing done in the totality of this moment that brings me, that brings us collectively closer to a truly joyous existence. This weekend was such a gift from friday evening going on til right now to see a little deeper, to really look in to things with total clarity. I want to say THANK you to all those whose were connected to the events that took place within these days. sending to love to all

Go Deep this Weekend

These past weeks have been full of some smooth and some sudden transitions, in the midst of it all I have found time to take at minimum one minute each day to sit in silence to become aware of my breath and the spaces in between.  I am in awe of the beautiful transitions taking place within me and outside.  I am really excited by all the activity and inactivity of this moment and this weekend.   I trust if you are reading this as well you can relate to a lil of what I am saying. With that said,  this weekend we have some exciting opportunities to  witness, release and dance, so come on out, bring a friend or invite one.  Lots o Love

You are not filled with furniture, cars, houses, money, and other nonsense.

THe Beginning of a new cycle

The September cycle of Dynamic started off with a Deep exhale! Its time now, at least for me, to let go off all the heat that was built up during the summer and cool down and get clear. It has become clear to me lately that I am hungry. I am hungry, I have been eating raw for the past couple months and had dips back into the sugar bowl only realizing I was/am trying to fill something inside me that cant be done with sugar/ processed foods, other people, surfing the net or whatever distraction I may use to get away. I am hungry, I am hungry for freedom from all the conditions I have put upon myself up til now. Yes....so I am going into this cycle knowing that the hunger may or may not be satisfied in one sitting ( one hour of Dynamic), but at least now I know what is going to fill me and am ready to change my diet:)

Unleashing the Inner Dance

leavThis two hour multi-dimensional exploration of the body is for those who are interested in exploring and experiencing movement as a bridge to inner expansion and healing.

Every moment we are dancing
Each step, glance and hesitation is dance between ourselves and existence. In this workshop, we will work from the body inwards to explore each individuals relationship to the body and its rhythms through breath, dynamic movement, OSHO Active Meditation and energetic interaction.

Be here and now, in this very moment, in a flame of awareness.

Your mind gives you a sort of stupor. Burdened by the memories of the past, burdened by the projections of the future, you go on living - at the minimum. You don't live at the maximum. Your flame remains very dim. Once you start dropping thoughts, the dust that you have collected in the past, the flame arises - clean, clear, alive, young. Your whole life becomes a flame, and a flame without any smoke. That is what awareness is.

Unleashing the Inner Dance

This Saturday 7.30-9.30pm

In this workshop we have been exploring these months how movement or lack thereof plays a huge role in our lives. The body is extremely intelligent and as such holds many things within its musculature. When we move the body, emotions, memories and tensions are touched and begin to move leaving us freeer to interact and connect with ourselves and others. Every moment we are dancing.

Each step, glance and hesitation is dance between ourselves and existence. In this two-hour workshops, we will work from the body inwards to explore each individuals relationship to the body and its rhythms through breath, dynamic movement, OSHO Active Meditation and energetic interaction.

Watchfulness....... a simple step

The phenomenon of witnessing has no ABC or XYZ. It is a simple phenomenon. It is a single step. It is one process.

The journey of one thousand miles is done by the simple step, one step. You cannot take two steps at one time. Step after step, just a single step can be stretched to ten thousand miles or to infinity.

Watchfulness is a simple step. There is no alphabet in it. There are no beginners in it, there are no amateurs in it and no experts in it. Everybody is in the middle, always in the middle.

You are moving perfectly right. Just go on.

Living Dynamically

On Moday we began a new cycle of Dynamic. We have another strong group committed to the cycle and all that comes along with it. I was surprised at how much tension I had gathered during the week we were not doing Dynamic. I am graateful to have a space to participate and share this technique. All are welcome!

August 4th- August 24th

Weekdays 7.00-8.00AM

Weekends 7.30 - 8.30 AM

Come join us for a life altering experience! This 21 day process is
specifically designed to raise energy and awareness making space for
totality and celebration in daily life.

Dynamic Meditation brings you back to your life energy by going through
different blocks, that we call layers. Each layer that we face and peel
away in this process starts to reveal the truth of who you really are. From
this point you can begin to transform your daily life, bringing silence and
celebration into any moment.

Dynamic Days are here Again

We begin a 21 day cycle of dynamic tomorrow, it is much neede for me in this moment. Perhaps you will join us!

An Ongoing 21 Day Active Meditation Process one hour, every day, every morning

July 7-July 27th

Weekdays 7.00-8.00AM

Weekends 7.30 - 8.30 AM

In a Safe Space we share this powerful method to start your day. During this hour long technique we use breath and body to release tension, stress and repressed emotions. This technique brings you back to your life energy by going through different blocks, that we call layers. Each layer that we face and peel away in this process starts to reveal the truth of who you really are. From this point you can begin to transform your daily life, bringing silence and celebration into any moment.

The technique consists of 5 stages: breathing, releasing, grounding, silence and celebration. Through these steps a joyous and relaxed balance is restored to body and mind and once the ground is prepared in this way meditation becomes easy and enjoyable. Dynamic Meditation is most effective when it is practiced in a 21 day format. This revolutionary active meditation technique can transform your life.

A Moment

Its been a while since I wrote anything up here. We have taken a little break from sharing meditations and have continued our practice at home. Actually last weekend in celebration we shared Osho Nataraj at a party. It was a huge success and as Jessy so eloquently put it
Eyes closed, Hearts Open!
It was a perfect start for the night afterwards everyone was in a playful mood, we had a hula hoop contest, freestyle session and Bingo of course! Thank to the lovely ladies of POW who helped to make this evening a success!

The dance unleashed

Yes, we unleashed the dance in immense heat we endured, sounding, releasin bones and muscles moving, pulsing.
Basically we all had a really great time and I am grateful to those who came out. This process has been for me one of learning patience. One of accepting where I am and where the world is in this moment and dancing with it totally, daily. This work came to me to heal myself and to offer/share with others. I am ecstatic to say the work will continue on, July 12th will be the next. I am also planning an intensive workshop for women in India at the end of this year that will include this wonderful work. I am open to the presence and abundance of Dance and Spirit in this city and beyond:)

Dancing with Darkness

Living in NYC we are exposed to so much and not till things are taken away do we notice the profound impact it has upon our lives. On Saturday we took our two hour journey into the darkness. Each time totally different and unexpected things pop up there. This time round things just were so simple. There in the darkness existing without body, words being pulled from the source and such silence. Surrounded by this silence and not in a scary way at all it was refreshing. You know what beyond words something shifted deep inside me and till this moment I can still feel it. People think of darkness with fear, but what I experienced nourished and freed me. I went out into the night open to what was there outside and more importantly inside of me. Able to tune into myself without tuning others out. I went to a rooftop barbecue and reveled in the miracle of sky, danced barefoot in kitchens and later on I danced into the day fueled by love and drum beats. All of this started in a darkness a small seed planted and nurtured with conscious choice and love again and again and again.

Balls of Bliss

I love living in Brooklyn
I feel like I am continually coming into contact with people and artists dedicated to living their lives with love and consciousness. Lately been dancing in many circles where beings communicate using words, sounds, movement, music and silence. Last night I gathered with a group of powerful multidimensional AND talented women. We told stories and challenged each other we listened, laughed and rejoiced in our meeting. Communion like this should be happening all over and I am excited and blessed to be a part of it. Check out a couple of these lovely ladies doing their thing at Dope Swan.
I brought along with me some raw money rolls and raw chocolate cookie dough which the ladies insist that I share, so here is the recipe courtesy of Gone Raw

Raw Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough
Serves 1
Someone else deserves the credit for this recipe, but I can’t remember where I jotted it down from. All I know is that it is a really tasty and decadent recipe to whip up when you are craving something sweet. At some point, I plan to try experimenting with this for a raw version of cookie dough ice cream – yum!
PLEASE NOTE: I included this recipe in the Kids category, but children under 1 year should not be served honey. Also, some children can have adverse reactions to sesame and cacao, so please use caution.
Ingredients
1 tablespoon raw tahini
1 tablespoon raw cacao nibs
1 tablespoon raw honey
2½ teaspoons coconut oil
1 drop organic vanilla extract
Preparation
Stir all ingredients in a bowl. If you can hold off long enough, it is even better chilled. Eat with a spoon or use as a sweet spread or dip for fruit pieces.

;)I left out the vanilla and also used less coconut oil, and substituted agave for honey one time and did agave honey combo the last time. Yum! These were gone in under a minute.

Enjoy and be filled with Bliss!

Dynamic and Darkness meditation

This month we cancel the dynamic cycle meditation. But I'm still meditate, I'm lucky enough to be able to do dynamic at my apartment end also I set up a small room where I can enjoy darkness meditation in the night time. I realized that I cannot weak up in the morning without doing one active meditation, my day is so alive if I do, if I don't it looks like I'm a sleeping walker, my energy is lower, and specially my presence is so different. I like when I feel ground, present, with more focus and a sparkling energy in my body. Doing darkness almost every night it's become my way to encounter who I am. If I feel sad or angry, or if I feel fear for something, what I'm doing is not avoid it but I'm going to stay there in the darkness and feel it, and breath inside whatever is there. My life become more simple, I'm enjoy every single moment and a start to learn to stay where I am, aloud whatsoever wants to come in my life to come. So I wish and I hope that you can come sometimes in our events where the more important thing is the meditation and how it can touch you, so that you too can start to celebrate your time in this life instead to fight with it.

Much playful time for everyone

Dynamic Cycle Cancelled For May

We cancelled this months cycle due to not having enough participants. There is still a possibility to make it happen on the weekend, if there is interest. This choice, though a challenging one to make,( since Dynamic is my favorite!) essentially is what we need in this moment. Perhaps a little space to step back and take a look at what and how we share.
We share these meditations from and with our heart, not for any monetary gain but because they have become such an integral part of our daily lives it is only natural that we share. Doing Dynamic for about three years has really brought new color to my life and also has brought out the things that were lurking in the shadows. Overall, empowering to choose the life I wish to lead. This is the power and beauty of meditation. Though this path can be challenging it is definitely worthwhile as I can make the choice every day, every moment to be and be totally! In love with all that life has to offer, seeing that everything is a lesson/and a gift. I am learning to embrace this more and more each day. I am grateful for all those who have shone light upon me and this path and grateful for those who have walked with me, for those who took a step on then off. I am grateful

Another cycle Complete

We finished our April cycle yesterday morning. It always amazes me how quickly the 21 days pass and how deeply it shifts something in me. Throughout this cycle, I have been struggling with honoring and creating space for my creative voice to flow, and in this moment I see that the more my mind gets out of the way the more creative work can flow through me. During this cycle I have begun to write again and allow some movement to flow through me, allowing more time and space for these things which bring me joy and make me feel alive. Tonight we had a lively Kundalini and I came home inspired and worked on a lil something. It is these small steps that join together to create the miraculous dance of existence. I am loving this journey!

Darkness and Dynamic

Well we had an amazing group for darkness on Saturday. This is one of my absolute favorite techniques to share because it is so simple, so beautiful and moves really deep. The gentle humming creates a harmony within and around us grounding us as we enter into the darkness. This time I felt the darkness was so thick. I really had to use all of my energy to enter into it. as usual the hour and twenty minutes went by pretty quickly. The group was energized afterwards and eager fr the next event. We are so grateful that we have the space in which to share this technique and a group invested in moving deeper with themselves

As for Dynamic we are in our last days and I feel the energy is bubbling. We have planned the next cycle to start on May 12 and more flowers to blossom within us from the clearing we have dome and the joy we have planted in ourselves through the process

Every Time

I feel like new things are always being unearthed in Dynamic. Almost like each time is the first time. Coming into it being totally from where I am in each moment, it is new. This process has been life changing, transforming the way I breathe, walk, communicate, dance, and celebrate. When I step out onto 23rd street after that hour, I feel like I am seeing with new eyes and the day lays in front of me, a great and wondrous mystery.

Dynamic Days

roller coaster

The past days have been a rollercoaster. We had a couple new people decide to join the cycle. Its great to have their energy. I have been pretty much waking up energized, even though most days I get to bed no earlier than midnight. I Definitely need to be drinking more water. I guess that for me is the biggest challenge right now, drinking at least a liter a day. The weather is warming up and in the morning i hear lots of new bird calls. The pre-dawn air is moist and fecund. I also feel this fullness, something beginning to open. I am glad I have this process to support this opening. I am grateful to all who have made it possible.

21 one day Dynamic-First Day

surise
I awoke this morning with ease,  energy bubbling in my center. I am moving into this cycle with openness shedding ideas/ thoughts of the past, pushing past expectations, knowing that its okay if things do come up or I do fall back , it is all a part of the process. I embrace it. We had some old and new faces show up this morning, I am grateful to those who have committed to the process that including myself, Neerajan, and our beautiful friends Ali and Krisana who have brought this and more to their new center in Germany. Full of gratitude for all those who are sharing Osho's vision and pointing to the door of awareness

OSHO Dynamic Meditation at Yoga to the People

We were invited by the owner of Yoga to the people, Greg, to share OSHO Dynamic Meditation with a group of about thirty aspiring yoga teachers this morning. The space was filled with exuberant energy as we breathed, released, re channelled, witnessed and celebrated with our whole selves! It is truly a blessing to be able to share Osho's vision in NY and with this eclectic group of individuals who were extremely so receptive, many shared the varied experiences after and were forthcoming with their comments about how awesome, exhausting, energizing and unifying this technique is. We will continue to be open to opportunities to share this technique with those who hope to add another dimension to their lives and work.

The end of one cycle The beginning of another

Today we completed the 21 day cycle of OSHO Dynamic meditation for March.  This cycle was filled for me with extremely high highs and the lowest of lows, and many moments where I rested in the middle.  I am always amazed at how fresh this meditation is for me.  I discover/ uncover / become aware of new things each time, each moment.  Each time moving closer and closer to the center.  Our next cycle begins next week and in this moment something is starting to grow/ to sprout, slowly, slowly allowing meditation to move into each corner, each moment of my daily life.

The morning has come. It has knocked on the door.  You are aware.  Fragile is the awareness as yet, very delicate.  You can fall asleep again, yes, that is a possibility, but still you are aware.

We decided to start this blog to document and share our experiences with OSHO Active Meditations.  Neerajan and I have been sharing OSHO Dynamic Meditation, 21 day intensives for the past three years in NYC, as well as other Active Meditations and more recently events fusing creativity and meditation.  This blog will be a space to share our experiences, thought, ideas, insights, fears, loves, inspirations and so much more.....
I take this first step with joy in my heart
